Accessibility
We want everyone who takes a GLP-1 medication to be able to use Anchor-1. This page says what we've done so far, what we haven't checked yet, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
In the app
Buttons, fields, checkboxes and charts are labeled for screen readers (VoiceOver on iPhone, TalkBack on Android).
Every chart has a text description of what it shows.
Sheets and dialogs move focus into themselves and hand it back when they close.
If you turn on Reduce Motion on your phone, the app reduces its animations.
Light and dark looks, with text and controls checked for contrast in both.
On this website
A “Skip to content” link, clear headings, and a text description for every screenshot.
It works with a keyboard and can be zoomed without losing content.
What we haven't done yet
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, but Anchor-1 hasn't had an independent accessibility audit, and some things, like the largest text sizes on every screen, haven't been fully tested. We'll keep improving as we hear from people who use it.
